This two story house delivers a large, functional floor area in a simple and efficient form.  The striking black timber form is punctured by a timber bridge and larch-clad entrance on the upper level. From the upper bedroom level, a raked ceiling with tall slot windows frame views out to the hillside opposite. The house opens up on the ground floor living space to a private outdoor living space and extensive terraced garden. 

The structure is a pre-fabricated panel system, complete with timber framing, cavity battens, insulation, weatherproofing and airtightness layers all constructed in the factory. The construction was weathertight within 48 hours of panel lift starting. The design features imported timber triple glazed windows.
